Elastic mooring systems

An Elastic Mooring will withstand severe weather conditions as it has good resistance to marine environments and has an unsurpassed ability to safely resist wave motion.

An Elastic Mooring requires very low regular maintenance and the unique construction, which allows it to slowly stretch to twice its length and then return to its original length in a smooth, calm movement, in combination with initial pre-tensioning, provides progressive resistance to both horizontal and vertical wave motion.

Anchoring using an elastic mooring system is never passive to the sea, but instead offers firm resistance that substantially reduces wave movements.

In harbours and marinas with heavy traffic, the effects of the swells are dampened and the risk of damage to moored boats is considerably reduced.
